Jamaican music became popular out of the island since the early days of its creation, but the flow of the most famous music is Reggae. Following in the footsteps Mento, Rocksteady and Ska, Reggae also combine rock music to a truly unique form of music. Music scene in Jamaica popularized by the dance, and especially the city of Kingston, the music is a very important element of life. Unemployment led to political changes and social community which then affects the music. Ska and Rocksteady to Reggae influence the importance of the trip. Music that comes from America also plays a role of growing development of Reggae. Reggae subsequent developments provide color, even changes in the recording industry in Jamaica.



Before Reggae is growing rapidly, the record company only pays the artists recording his songs, without giving them a royalty, which is obviously the musicians Jamaija not benefit from his work, so many musicians who remain hidaupdalam poverty in Jamaica. Jamaican political scene at that time was very stressful. Many reggae musicians, including members of The Wailers, Bunny Wailers, recorded as a Rastafarian. In the early 1970's, The Wailers eventually signed with Island records in England, and promising them huge royalties they can get. Chris Blackwell, a Jamaican-born producer, was behind the success of their first record. The second recording re-launched a few years later, although the integrity of the Wailers can not be sustained in 1974, and spawned a new group the Wailers, led by Bob Marley. Bob Marley Reggae himself later became icons because of its popularity around the world. African children begin to memorize song lyric from Bob Marley's voice chanting, while other reggae artists trying to work hard to feed themselves. At first American reggae mark as part of the strength of the movement of the black community in the 1980s, after Marley died of cancer, he became a figure well-known artists in the United States.
